ViewSonic Unveils Three LCD Monitors

ViewSonic is kicking off the year with the introduction of three LCD monitors.

The company's new FuHzion VX2265wm is a 22-inch LCD monitor with a 16:10 widescreen. It is said to be capable of operating at 120Hz with a compatible dual-link DVI graphics card. When combined with NVIDIA's GeForce 3D Vision graphics processors, it is said to be able to deliver 3-D images.

Other key features include its 3ms video response timed, 1,680 by 1,050 HD resolution, Windows Vista certification, SRS Wow HD sound technology, invisible stereo speakers and a "sleek black design,"

The VX2265wm becomes available this month at an estimated $479 street price.

Also new this month will be ViewSonic's first 24-inch LCD display to support Full HD 1080p resolution in the native mode. The VX2433wm features an HDMI input.

The device offers a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, a 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and SRS WOW HS sound technology.

Other features include its 2ms video response time, invisible stereo speakers, glossy black design and Windows Vista certification.

The WX2433wm will carry an estimated street price of $349.

Finally, the WX1933wm is the company's latest 19-inch widescreen LCD monitor. It features a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 1,366 by 768 resolution.

According to the company, the monitor is part of its 33 series of desktop monitors that each feature an Eco mode, designed to save energy and provide a longer lamp life.

Like the other new monitors, the display features a glossy black design and is Windows Vista certified.

The VX1933 will also be available in January at an estimated $169.
