Aluratek Announces Card Reader For Cellphone-To-PC Transfers

Irvine, Calif. — Aluratek announced its all-in-one card reader is now shipping to Best Buy retailers.

The company is hailing the card reader as the industry’s first all-in-one card reader specifically designed to transfer media between cellphones and PCs.

“As cellphones are becoming more feature-rich, additional storage capacity is required. People want a way to transfer their data from their cellphones to their PCs,” John Wolikow, sales and marketing VP, said to TWICE.

The AUCR200 supports MicroSD, MiniSD, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick Pro Duo, Secure Digital, MMC and RS-MMC. It has a 480Mbps transfer speed and a $19.99 suggested retail.  

The product is scheduled to be available at Target and other retailers in September.
