Targus Introduces Portable DVD Storage Units

Targus has introduced a complete lineup of storage solutions for the explosive portable DVD market.

The Targus DVD Storage and Accessory line consists of products that address the main portable DVD user categories — namely those who watch DVDs on notebook computers while traveling, those who carry dedicated portable DVD players and those who watch DVDs on an aftermarket or OEM automotive DVD/ entertainment system.

The most compact, the Sport Traveler Player Case, DVD301, coming in a combination nylon and rugged twill outer material. The case holds a portable DVD player with up to a 9-inch screen. Non-woven pockets hold up to four DVD movies. Suggested retail is $24.99 and availability is March.

The Targus Traditional DVD Player Case, DVD001, is larger than the Sport Traveler, and built from more conservative synthetic leather and twill. The case holds a portable DVD player with up to a 13-inch screen, and the player loads from the top of the case. Suggested retail is $29.99 and it is currently available.

The Road Warrior DVD Player Case, DVD401, offers room for up to 20 DVD movies and a portable DVD player with up to a 9-inch screen. It has a suggested $39.99 retail and March availability.

In DVD movie storage, Targus is offering a 40 DVD Album, DVDNC40, an elegant synthetic leather case that hold up to 40 DVD movies with chapter title booklets. Suggested retail is $29.99 for the currently available product.

Portable albums include a 10 DVD Album, DVDNC10, at a suggested $10.99 retail, and a 20 DVD Album, DVDNC20, at a suggested $14.99. These cases double as portable solutions for anyone who travels with 10 to 20 DVDs.
