Sanus Debuts Platinum Furniture Plasma TV Pedestal

St. Paul, Minn. — In order to mount a flat-panel TV when walls are not available, suitable or desirable, Sanus Systems is introducing its Platinum Furniture plasma TV pedestal for plasma TVs up to 50 inches. Called model PFFP, the unit comes in the same custom-matched finish as the company's Platinum line, designed to complement silver and gray digital TVs.
The Pedestal includes an aluminum column that extends strength to its base to accommodate televisions weighing up to 130 pounds. It features a hidden cable channel, adjustable glass shelf holding up to 50 pounds and a custom-blended silver finish. No tools are required to tilt the television.
Suggested retail is $399 and the unit currently is shipping.
Sanus also is offering its new Articulating Flat Panel Wall Mount designed for flat-panel 30-inch to 50-inch TVs weighing up to 50 pounds. No tools are required to tilt, swivel and pan, while rotation adjustment allows proper TV leveling. The unit, which has a suggested $549 retail, offers a durable silver or black powder-coated finish.
