Music/Phone Calls Team Up With Logitech Headsets

Las Vegas — New mobile stereo wireless headsets from Logitech for listening to digital stereo music and conducting phone calls on mobile music phones debuted at International CES, held here early this month. The units, which are available as the HS 200 and HS 210 models, allow users — at the push of a button — to switch from enjoying a favorite song to participating in a conference call.
The headsets are designed for the next-generation of music phones that feature Bluetooth wireless technology with the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). The headsets come in two different behind-the-head types, each emphasizing style and comfort.
The mobile stereo headset HS 200 has a round earpiece and a microphone mini-boom that extends slightly from the right earpiece. The HS 210 has a square-shaped earpiece with a microphone embedded in the right earpiece.
Headsets from the Fremont, Calif.-headquartered company include rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that provide up to 10 hours of talk time, eight hours of play time and more than 300 hours of standby time. The Bluetooth technology ensures digital audio at a range of 30 feet away from the phone.
Suggested retail for both units is $129, and availability is this spring.
