RhinoSkin Cases Team Up With Dell PDA Line

By Staff -- TWICE, 10/24/2005

Saunders, the maker of RhinoSkin cases for mobile technology products, is teaming with Dell to debut a line of sturdy yet stylish cases for the Dell Axim X50.

Saunders, which said it is producing three more cases for the Dell PDA, including the Axim X50 aluminum case with extended battery support, the Axim X50 titanium case and the Axim X50 silicone case in four different colors.

Saunders said the new line is based on customer demand and incorporates new materials, features and colors.

The new aluminum case is custom-designed to fit the Axim X50 with the extended battery. The aluminum provides lightweight yet durable protection. ABS plastic components maintain clear Wi-Fi performance and a padded, form-fitting interior absorbs dings and drops. The case has a suggested $34.95 retail.

The titanium case for the Axim X50 provides maximum protection and durability. A neoprene interior offers a snug fit and impact protection, and the case provides ease of access to stylus, ports and functions buttons. Suggested retail is $79.95.

Both hard cases come with RhinoSkin removable post and belt-clip system for hands-free transport and come with a complimentary StuffBak loss protection service label, which increases the chances that a PDA will be returned if lost or misplaced.

The new line also includes a silicone case, at a suggested $19.95 retail, in four colors — including black, maroon, blue and orange. Silicone cases are made with high-grade silicone that can be easily cleaned with soap and water. Designed specifically for the Axim X50, cases provide a snug fit and easy access to all function buttons and ports.
