TalkSwitch Debuts IP DECT Phone

Ottowa – Business phone maker TalkSwitch will ship a new DECT handset to dealers this month.
The TS-850i is a SIP-based VoIP phone but can also be used with landline service. It features an indoor range
of 150 feet and an outdoor range of 1,000 feet. It supports up to three simultaneous calls per base-station and can automatically detect and configure additional handsets.
Additional features include caller ID, backlit display, call log, a 170 entry phone directory and message waiting indicator.
The system supports up to 8 handsets per base and up to five bases on a single line. A single handset model with base will retail for $299. Accessory handsets will retail for $149.
