Sharut Integrates Furniture, CE Products To Boost Sales

LAS VEGAS — Sharut Furniture introduced at CES here what it calls a new concept of furniture and consumer electronics integration.
The new product line, Furniture in Motion, demonstrates the complete home cinema concept by offering entertainment units with a motorized panel on which a plasma television is mounted. Each TV screen has the ability to move 80 inches in the visual eye. So, a television 13 inches above the ground when a user is sitting straight has the ability to move 45 inches upward when the user is reclining back.
The plasma monitor slides up and down along the wall unit with a touch of a button, without the hassle of having multiple remotes, since one universal remote is offered for all of a user's entertainment needs.
The Plasma in Motion line segment is available in a broad range of dimensions, colors and finishes. A wide range of product styles is available for every space requirement, ranging from corner units to freestanding suspension units.
Plasma in Motion offers the alternative of having a plasma TV and all other electronics needed, such as DVD player, surround sound and game boxes, be set up in a functional, yet stylish and unique manner, said the company.
Suggested retail for the furniture from the Passaic, N.J.-based company is $5,995.
