Lafayette, Calif. – Digital frame vendor Pandigital announced a 10.4-inch model today featuring 256MB of internal memory.
The new frame (PAN10-2) offers a 6-in-1 memory card reader for SD, xD, Memory Stick (PRO and Duo), CompactFlash and MMC memory. It boasts a screen resolution of 1,024 by 768 and a 500:1 contrast ratio.
The frame supports MPEG 1, MPEG 4 and AVI video and MP3 audio playback. It offers built-in speakers and a headphone jack.
The frame will ship February with a remote control and two interchangeable frames (black wood and cherry wood) for a suggested retail price of $249.
Pandigital claimed to have sold more than 500,000 frames through 5,000 storefronts in the fourth quarter of the year and will add close to 1,000 additional storefronts to its sales channel in the first quarter of this year, the company said.

I also contacted PanDigital about the new frame and was told it was not launched yet and to go to their website for more information, which I did, however, there was nothing on their website about the new size frame!

I was wondering too - so I emailed Pandigital. The new frame has not been launched yet (as of March 2, 2007). They would not give me an actual date and did not answer my question as to who will carry it. The only store that carries the 9.2" is Linens-N-Things.
