Sennheiser Bows Noise-Canceling Headphone

LAS VEGAS — Sennheiser is taking the wraps off a new pair of noise-canceling headphones at International CES in South Hall 1, booth 21535. The PXC450 features Sennheiser's new proprietary NoiseGard 2.0 active noise-cancellation technology, providing up to 32dB of active noise reduction. The closed design of the headphone, combined with internal damping and specially designed ear cushions, provides up to 23dB of passive isolation. A new TalkThrough function (activated by a push button on the right ear shell) allows users to communicate without having to remove the headphone. Volume controls and an on/off switch are also located directly on the headphone. Even though the headphone is a full-size design and it is fully collapsible for portability. A single AAA battery provides up to 25 hours of continuous active noise cancellation. Included in the package is a deluxe carry pouch, a 0.25-inch phono adapter and a dual-mono adapter. The suggested retail is $429.
