Kensington Displays iPod, Wireless Lines

Kensington Computer Products Group showed attendees here at CES this month its PilotMouse Laser Wireless Micro and PilotBoard Laser Wireless Desktop Set. Both products are designed to offer users a wireless work environment and the freedom to do away with cord clutter.

The Kensington PilotMouse Laser Wireless Micro offers such features as the Philips TwinEye laser technology, the performance of 2.4GHz wireless, programmable buttons, smooth scroll wheel and a high-speed USB receiver that tucks inside. The has an estimated street price of $59.

The Kensington PilotBoard Laser Wireless Desktop is designed to offer the sensitivity and accuracy of a laser mouse, the comfort and convenience of a programmable wireless keyboard and the high performance of 2.4GHz connectivity, said the company.

By combining Kensington's six-button programmable laser mouse with the company's most comfortable keyboard design ever, the PilotBoard Laser Wireless Desktop will help users stay in control of their workspace, said Kensington. It has an estimated $79 street price.

Kensington, based in San Mateo, Calif., also was showing its line of iPod accessories for spring availability.

The Entertainment Dock 500 allows the use of the video-out ports (RCA or S-video), enabling users to share videos and photos from an iPod through a television. It has an estimated street price of $99.

The Accessory Adapter for iPod Shuffle plugs into the USB connector on the iPod Shuffle and lets users play music. It has a $19 estimated street price.
