XM Offers Free Tuner with PND

Washington — XM Satellite Radio announced a promotion offering a free XM Mini-Tuner and antenna when users purchase a new Jensen or Advent personal navigation device (PND).

The Jensen Rock 'N' Road PND started shipping with a free a XM Mini-Tuner and antenna.

The promotion, running through Dec. 29, applies to the Jensen NVXM1000 Rock ‘N’ Road and Advent ADV800XM PND, which were previewed in January and are just now shipping. Each offer XM service through a removable Mini-Tuner receiver.

The Jensen Rock ‘N’ Road is now available at www.xmradio.com, www.bestbuy.com and www.cirucitcity.com with a free XM Mini-Tuner and antenna, typically at $30 each. The Advent ADV800XM is available at select GM, Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Hyundai dealers, also with the free Mini-Tuner and antenna.

The Jensen Rock ‘N’ Road has a built-in 8GB hard drive, 4-inch screen, built-in maps of the United States and Canada, and more than 11 million points of interest. It also has built-in rechargeable batteries and an FM modulator. The Advent ADV800XM is an expediter version that is sold through car dealerships.
