Toshiba added three new SD digital cameras to its lineup at the PMA show, held here last month.

The PDR-T10 is being touted by the company as the first camera to utilize its LCD screen as an interactive touch-screen menu for operation of all camera functions other than snapping a picture.

The fully automatic PDR-T10 sports 2.2-megapixel resolution, an all-glass lens with macro mode, a USB interface, automatic focusing, five-mode flash system, and Epson PRINT Image Matching technology, which improves the camera's interaction with Epson Stylus Photo printers.

The camera will have a suggested retail price under $300 with a ship date in April/May. Accessories include an 8MB SD card, two AA nickel zinc batteries; USB cable and ImageExpert software for image editing.

Next is the PDR-3310, a 3.2-megapixel compact digital camera that features a seven element all-glass 3x optical zoom lens. It can also record AVI video files and comes with a 16MB SD card, USB and video cables, and ImageExpert software. It will ship in the spring with a $499 suggested retail price.

Finally, the PDR-3300, is a 3.2-megapixel camera with an all-glass Canon lens with 2.8X optical zoom and 2.2X digital zoom, plus a macro mode. The camera comes with an array of manual controls including full manual, shutter-priority and aperture-priority exposure controls. It features a 1.6-inch color LCD, Epson PRINT Image matching technology, a burst mode for rapid-fire action shooting, and a five-mode flash.
