Modular Faceplates Offer ID Windows

BOTHELL, WASH. — The Voice&Data Division of Leviton has introduced QuickPort Modular Furniture Faceplates with Identification Windows. The faceplates, which come in 2- and 4-port versions, fit standard, extended depth or a variety of furniture manufacturers.
Designed for simple, organized workstation identification, the faceplates feature a new designation window that has a built-in slot with a snap-in plastic cover for ease of insertion of ID labels.
Each faceplate comes with a labeling kit that includes two white labels that can be written on. Additionally, the faceplates work with Leviton's QuickPort shutters and icons for added port protection.
Designed to accept any QuickPort snap-in connector or adapter, the faceplates can be loaded to support a variety of copper and fiber applications in open office environments. The combination of a labor-saving jack design and tool-less plate installation simplifies frequent adds, moves and changes, and allows access to the connectors without having to remove the furniture channel cover.
The faceplates, at $2.50 suggested retail for the 2- and 4-port each, fit all major modular furniture brands, and come in ivory, white, gray and black to match and blend with virtually any décor.
