Success Story: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55

Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-W55 was announced at International CES in January 2007 and shipped the following month for $200.
Situated in Sony's W-line of mainstream compact cameras, the DSC-W55 was available in blue, pink, black and silver.
It featured seven scene modes, an ISO-boosting blur-reduction mode (to ISO 1,000) and explanatory menus that guide users through the camera's function and alert to them the various print sizes supported by differing levels of image resolution.
The DSC-W55 features 7 megapixels, a 2.5-inch LCD, 3x optical zoom lens, 58MB of internal memory, VGA movie recording. Suggested retail is $200.
