Meg Whitman will step down as president/CEO of eBay on March 31, and will be succeeded by John Donahoe, president of eBay's Marketplaces unit. She will remain on eBay's board as a director... John Menzer, the 56-year-old vice chairman of Wal-Mart Stores, will retire from the company on March 1. His responsibilities have been assumed by other senior executives, including president Eduardo Castro-Wright (logistics and real estate), CEO Lee Scott (information systems), and vice chairman Mike Duke (global procurement) … Diane Keogh, InfoUSA, Fellowes and Motorola exec, joins Solo, a unit of U.S. Luggage, as national accounts manager, a new position ... Peter K. Felberbaum, president of the marketing/licensing division for SDI Technologies and KIDdesigns, has joined Best Brands Consumer Products in the same role. Isaac Ashkenazi, president of KIDdesigns, and Ezra Ashkenazi, president of SDI, together with Marcos Zalta, business and legal affairs VP, will assume Felberbaum's responsibilities with respect to third-party licensors. Evan Stein, marketing vision VP, will assume Felberbaum's PR and marketing duties ... J.A. Tonsfeldt, 18-year Kicker Audio marketing veteran and most recently the marketing communications manager for the Kicker and SoundGate brands, named business unit director of company's new home and portables division.
