GoPro Bows Sports Camera/Camcorder

LAS VEGAS — GoPro is debuting at International CES the Digital Hero 3 Camera that is said to simplify sports photography and videography. The Digital Hero 3 is an all-season/all-sport wrist camera engineered to make it easy to shoot photos and video during favorite sports activities. Digital Hero 3 is a shockproof/waterproof digital wrist camera. The unit features a 3-megapixel sensor for high-resolution photos and TV resolution video delivered at 30 fps with sound. It has polwycarbonate housing and can fit over ski jackets and gloves. The Digital Hero 3 has 16MB of onboard memory and can accept up to a 2GB SD flash card for more storage. A 2GB SD card will hold more than 2,500 photos or up to 54 minutes of continuous video. The Digital Hero 3, which will be featured at Sands booth 70433, will be available this month at a suggested retail of $140.
