In order to extend the life of users' devices, Philips Electronics is offering its mini-DVD lens cleaner, model PH62033, which is specifically designed to clean mini-DVD camcorders in order to extend use. The unit, at a suggested $19.99 retail, delivers thorough, safe cleaning of delicate camcorder lenses via the optical disc and fine brush provided, said the company.

Philips' automated universal media disc (UMD) cleaner, model PH63004, enables consumers to clean and play their digital content wherever they go, said the company. The product provides flexibility via battery operation or with an AC adapter. Suggested retail is $24.99. Availability for both products is said to be this year.
