BoxWave Bows iPhone Accessories

by Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 6/7/2007

Bellevue, Wash. — BoxWave announced the availability of a host of accessories for the Apple iPhone. Products include a screen protector, charger, retractable cable, headphones, power backup and several cases.

The ClearTouch Anti-Glare screen protector is designed to offer a blend of anti-glare and optical clarity. It is available for more than 2,500 devices, which now includes the iPhone. It is engineered for users who require maximum screen readability under sunlight and various outdoor lighting conditions. It has a $12.99 suggested retail.

The VersaCharger PRO ($25.95) eliminates the need for multiple chargers, according to BoxWave. It combines the car charger, wall charger and airplane charger through an optional converter to create an all-inclusive charging solution for the iPhone.

The Designio leather cases ($25.95) and leather sleeves ($29.95) are custom fitted for iPhones. They are available in six colors: jet black, leaf green, scarlet red, soft pink, tangerine orange and winter white.

The FlexiSkin ($27.95) is an ultra-low-profile skin case designed for complete usability. Constructed with anti-static material, the FlexiSkin skin case provides reliable protection from unwanted dust and accidental bumps. It is available in six colors: aluminum grey, coral pink, frosted clear, future blue, jet black and smoke grey.

Engineered to synchronize and charge an iPhone, the miniSync cable ($17.95) is retractable and designed with an ultra-portable form factor. With the miniSync, the user can also use his iPhone as a portable storage drive for transferring and saving any type of files.

The company’s miniBuds ($22.95) produce high-quality stereo sound with a wider frequency response in a portable compact design, said the company in a release, and “the physical design has also been re-thought and re-engineered to provide optimal sound and organization.” A lapel clip enables users to clip the miniBuds onto clothing and prevent getting tangled up.

The battery adapter PRO enables an iPhone to be charged using AA batteries. Carrying a $22.50 suggested retail, it is equipped with a built-in triple LED flashlight and an extendable USB cord.

The iPhone is scheduled to become available on June 29.
