D&M Moving Headquarters In April

By Staff -- TWICE, 1/5/2006

D&M Holdings said it will open a new headquarters building in Mahwah, N.J., for the company's North American operations, which will feature an advanced product demonstration area and showroom.

The move is expected to be completed by April, by which time all sales, marketing, service, finance and administrative functions for Denon and Marantz consumer operations in the United States will relocate to the new facility. The sales departments of Boston Acoustics, Snell Acoustics and Escient also will be based in Mahwah.

“This new facility is being designed to provide our company with ample space so we can continue our aggressive growth plans for D&M's current portfolio of brands and through the expansion of that portfolio in the future,” said Vic Pacor, president/COO of D&M Holdings.

D&M Holdings will be the lead tenant and the company's name will be placed on the building's exterior. The office building, currently under renovation in preparation for this move, will also serve as the corporate headquarters for D&M Holdings U.S.

“We're looking forward to moving into this new facility, which will provide us with an ideal showcase for our high-quality products while also providing our employees with a superb place to work,” said Bob Weissburg, D&M Holdings sales and marketing president for North America.

In related news, D&M Holdings announced that former Toshiba exec Michael Begala has joined D&M North America as service VP for the Denon and Marantz brands. He will be responsible for all aspects of customer care, including repair service, consumer technical call center support and quality control for both Denon and Marantz.
