AVF Expands Web Sites

Mira Loma, Calif. — AVF recently expanded the compatibility guide on its Web sites to include more than 11,500 models of flat-screen TVs/monitors, and added three new language versions of its sites: Spanish, Russian and Czech.

Chief Site Adds Custom Configurator

Minneapolis — Chief Manufacturing has launched on its Web site the Mountbuilder product configurator, an online tool that walks a user through a logical sequence of steps for building a mount configuration that visually appears before them on their computer screen. Drop distance and weight capacity are automatically calculated as parts are added. A parts list is also generated, with the ability to edit parts and quantities. The tool allows users to log in and create a password so they can save configurations for proposals or future jobs, and create a PDF with image for proposals.

Mountbuilder currently offers a selection of projector-mount configurations. Future phases will include modules for flat-panel wall mounts, carts, stands and monitor mounting solutions. The URL to access the site is www.mountbuilder.com.

PDR Revamps Site

Corona, Calif. — PDR Mounts announced improvements to its Web site offerings and a redesigned catalog.

PDR's main Web site (www.pdrmounts.com) now has a partners login where qualified dealers and distributors can register and obtain CAD drawings, spec sheets, downloads of the company's catalog and the latest PDR news.

PDR has also published a new 40-page product catalog with high-res images of all PDR mounts along with thumbnail specs, shipping-carton dimensions and weights to assist in the of tracking freight costs.
