Archos Intros USB 2.0 Products

Las Vegas - Peripheral maker Archos today unveiled a line of USB 2.0 compatible products, including a miniature hard drive and two CD-RW drives.

The MiniCDRW 2 is a 16x R/RW drive that comes bundled with a USB 2.0 PCI card. USB 2.0 is about 40 times faster than the current USB 1.1 now on the market. It is joined by the Cesar-CDRW/MPM, a portable model for notebook computers. The MiniHD is a portable hard drive that has been developed in three capacities: 6GB, 20GB and 40GB. It can connect to a computer via USB 2.0 or FireWire

All products will ship in December, pricing has not been set.
