InstallerNet Adds IT Offering

By Alan Wolf -- TWICE, 1/29/2007

InstallerNet, which provides home theater and mobile A/V installation for retailers and manufacturers, is adding PC and connected home services to its offering through a partnership with OnForce, a Web-based on-demand marketplace for on-site technology services with access to more than 10,000 highly qualified IT service providers.

To drive new product sales for customers, InstallerNet is introducing a new range of InstallCards, which represent prepaid installation services and can be sold like other product accessories. Each InstallCard has a unique PIN number that identifies the retailer and product offering. Consumers can schedule installation appointments at their convenience online through a dedicated Web site.

InstallerNet also offers manufacturers a private-label program to provide InstallCards along with their products, essentially providing an "installer-in-every-box."
