Electronics Expo To Open Seventh Store

By Alan Wolf -- TWICE, 8/3/2007

Union, N.J. — Electronics Expo, the New Jersey specialty A/V chain, will open its seventh store during the fourth quarter.

The unit, to be located here, will represent an expansion of the company’s footprint into central New Jersey from its upstate base.

Like its sister stores, the new location will feature home theater solutions priced at $1,000 to $150,000 that are displayed in separate vignettes, with an emphasis on home automation custom installation services, and furniture and home furnishings.

The store will also test a newly designed interactive area for cameras, camcorders, portable audio and wireless.

“We have set out to create the ultimate one-stop solution for all of our customers’ electronics and furniture needs,” said Leon Temiz, founder, president/CEO of Electronics Expo. “This new store will offer a higher level of customer care and detail that you just don’t find in traditional consumer electronics outlets.”

Temiz, a former principal of New York metro area A/V chain Sixth Avenue Electronics, launched Electronics Expo four years ago, and ultimately plans to operate 12 to 15 locations throughout New Jersey. The PRO Group member also maintains an e-commerce site at www.electronics-expo.com and www.exponj.com.
