By Colleen Bohen -- TWICE, 10/13/2008

Dell launched a preloaded movie service that allows its direct-buy consumers to customize select desktops and laptops with exclusive pre-installed movie bundles.

Dell is kicking off the program by offering a special digital edition of Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment's "Iron Man" with a bonus featurette preloaded on select factory-direct Inspiron, Dell Studio and XPS laptops and desktops. The movie will be available for a fee of $20 and can be ordered through www.dell.com/movies.

According to Dell, it plans to expand its entertainment selections in the future, and it said it will continually refresh its offerings.
