Sony Unveils New Wi-Fi Camera At Int'l CES

By Staff -- TWICE, 1/19/2009

Sony will make another pass at a wireless digital camera with the new Cyber-shot G3.

A successor to last year's G1, the new model offers direct uploading to photo Web sites. It can email links to images sent from the camera. Users can also view photos stored on photo Web sites through the G3's 3-inch touch-screen LCD.

Thanks to its built-in Web browser, the G3 will be able to access both secure and unsecured networks.

The 10-megapixel G3 will also feature a 4x optical zoom lens, 4GB worth of internal memory, face detection and smile shutter (with child/adult priority mode).

It will retail for $499.
