Chief Bows Flat-Panel Mounts

By Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 8/21/2006

Chief Manufacturing has introduced mounts that are designed for all flat-panel sizes from 10 inches to over 65 inches. These solutions include mounts from the Cynergy, Fusion and Reaction lines, along with new ceiling mounts, in-wall mounts and table stand.

Chief's JWP pivot/tilt, JWS single-arm and JWD dual-arm wall mounts, part of the Cynergy series, are engineered to offer a range of motion for viewing screens from multiple angles. The mounts feature Centris technology for fingertip movement and adjustment of the screen with extension of over 20 inches (with the JWD). Its integrated cable management is meant to provide a clean installation.

The MSR fixed and MTR tilt wall mounts, part of the Fusion series, provide a low-profile solution for mounting midsized screens, said Chief in a release. Featuring the company's Q-Latch System, the mounts offer quick screen connect/disconnect and integrated security. Installation is completed with the Rapid Level system, which provides hands-free leveling of the mount on the wall.

Chiefs MWR and MWH single-arm wall mounts, part of the Reaction series, create flexibility and strength for medium flat-panel screens with extension up to 25 inches. The company's G-Force gravity-centered tilt is designed to provide easy, fingertip screen adjustments, and it also utilizes the Q-Latch System. Installation is completed with the mounting guide system, allowing one-person installation by hanging the mount on two lag bolts.

Also introduced from Chief are the MCS single ceiling mounts. Users route cables through the extension column and adjust the tilt of the display to just the right angle. It utilizes the Q-Latch system.

The MSS swivel table stand is designed to offer a stylish tabletop solution with smooth swivel in any direction and optional preset stopping points. The free-standing base has bolt-down capability for permanent installations, and it provides built-in cable management.
