Samsung Bows Wi-Fi Frame

By TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 12/17/2007

Irvine, Calif. — Samsung threw its hat into the wireless digital frame ring last week with the introduction of an 8-inch model based on Microsoft technology.

The SPF-83V can display images from home networks and from Windows Live Photo Gallery, an online photo-sharing site. The frame can also pull images via RSS feeds from other photo Web sites.

It features an 800 by 600 resolution screen with a 500:1 contrast ratio, 64MB of internal memory, memory card slots and USB host/slave ports. It is shipping now for $259.
