Targus Notebook Cases Pump Up Design

Anaheim, Calif. — Urban laptop cases from Targus offer an “edgier” look and feel, aimed toward young professionals.
Urban collection cases come in four styles that couple brighter colors with an urban-like look as an alternative to the traditional, uniform notebook cases, said Targus. All four are made from nylon and feature fashionable silhouettes, designed with padded interior compartments lined with a soft, scratch-resistant fabric to protect notebooks with up to 15.4-inch screen sizes.
The entry-level Messenger, model TSM005US at a suggested $59.99 retail, is top-loading and includes a removable padded slipcase and file section and a variety of add-ons.
The Topload, model TST004UC at $69.99, offers padded notebook compartment, separate file sections and add-ons. It also includes an easy-access compartment for an iPod or MP3 player.
The Backpack, model TSB013US at $69.99, is ideal for users with many electronic accessories. It has dual side pockets for iPod, MP3 player and cellphone and internal mesh pockets for notebook cables and accessories.
The top-of-the-line Travel Roller, model TSR001US at $119, is an all-in-one travel case, designed with separate, padded easy-access notebook compartment and “spacious” inner compartments for clothing and overnight personal items. The model includes zippered pockets and custom components for accessories such as cellphones. It offers a telescoping handle and in-line skate wheels.
