DSI Resumes DirecTV Classes

By Alan Wolf -- TWICE, 5/23/2005

DSI Systems, the value-added CE and satellite TV equipment distributor, has embarked on a 60-date series of DirecTV Dealer Marketing seminars across the United States.

The fast-paced, one-day seminars are offered free to all DSI dealers.

“It's all about providing DSI's DirecTV dealers with expert strategy, tactics and a plan to help ensure their growth and success,” said Bob Brands, DSI's senior VP/sales. “Our customers deserve the very best in no-hype training, and we're happy to work with DirecTV to add this value to our dealers.”

The program, produced by DSI, DirecTV and Affinity Marketing, was inspired by the “overwhelming response to and success of” last year's DirecTV Approved Marketing seminar series, DSI said. Over 1,000 merchants attended the series in 2004, which, according to Affinity Marketing's CEO Ron Bruce, helped cause a “huge lift in sales” for DSI's DirecTV dealers.

The seminars, which run now through June 30, will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and include attendance incentives, special reports, prizes, drawings, special event pricing and lunch. Host cities include Baltimore; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Evansville, Ill.; Indianapolis, Ind.; Kansas City; Sacramento, Calif.; Seattle; and St. Louis, Mo.

To register, dealers can phone DSI toll-free at (800) 888-8876, or contact their nearest DSI branch office.
