Battery-Biz Introduces Its Compact iPod Power Supply

Newbury Park, Calif. — Battery-Biz is introducing its Hi-Capacity external iPod battery, which is slightly smaller than the standard iPod device, making it one of the most compact external iPod batteries on the market, according to the company.

The rechargeable lithium-ion Hi-Capacity battery provides up to 14 hours of extended run time and also will charge the internal battery for most iPod models. The Hi-Capacity external iPod battery is compatible with first, second, third and fourth generation iPod models, the iPod Photo model and the iPod Mini model.

The Battery-Biz unit is attached to the iPod with a provided output cable and is held in place with a clear silicon band, making the battery nearly indistinguishable from the iPod.

The Hi-Capacity battery, which includes an input cable, output cable and silicon attachment band, will be available in the third quarter at a suggested retail of $69.99.
