By TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 4/25/2005

Arlington, Va. — The Consumer Electronics Association has added a digital imaging module to its CEknowhow.com online training service in addition to a partnership with Creative Channel Services to offer CyberScholar Live, a free training program to connect consumer electronics manufacturers with retail sales professionals both online and at live events.

The live events, titled “Selling the Total Digital Imaging Solution,” will be held May 5-June 1 in Chicago; New York; Dallas; Orange County, Calif.; and San Jose, Calif. According to a statement announcing the program, the course will focus on “the best ways to recognize and serve customer needs when selling digital imaging products.”

Other program features include product education, presentations and prize incentives from vendor sponsors including Canon, Adobe, ATI, SanDisk and AMD.

The CyberScholar Live program also includes the Web site www.cyberscholar.com, which provides technology product training, event enrollment, surveys and other activities before and after the live events.

The CyberScholar Live program is free to retail sales professionals. Participants at either the online or in-person events can receive thousands of dollars in giveaway packages, prizes and incentives.
