CES 2009: Motevo Debuts Multimedia NavIn-Dash System

LAS VEGAS — Motevo Mobile Media will show its GTV-X5 in-dash double-DIN multimedia navigation system here at International CES in the North Hall, booth 1026.

The in-dash GTV-X5 device is said to function as a hands-free speaker for Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones. According to the company, users speak into a tiny microphone embedded at the front of the unit and will hear their conversation partner's voice through their car speakers.

Motevo said the unit features a motorized 6.2-inch TFT LCD touchscreen, a TV tuner, DVD player, USB port, SD card slot, iPod interface, an AM/FM radio, a GPS system and a rear camera.

The device's GPS system shows the car's location on an onscreen map.
