HTSA Adds Audio Visions South

Chester Springs, Pa. - The Home Theater Specialists of America (HTSA) has signed a new member, its 47th, Audio Visions South of Tampa, Fla.
According to Richard Glikes, executive director of HTSA, Audio Visions South is owned by George Liu, a well-respected retailer who is also a board member of the Professional Audio Video Retailers Association (PARA).
Glikes said the seven year-old buying group, which currently has $450 million in annual sales, qualifies new members in the following ways. 'Potential new members must have $5 million in annual sales or be the leading home theater retailer in its market. And it must be in business for five years.'
When asked about future expansion, Glikes said the groups' target has been 'Fifty to 55 members. If we see good people we will add them.'
