NFM Unveils Expanded CE-Majap Store

OMAHA, NEB. — Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) celebrated the completion of a two-year, multimillion-dollar expansion of its Appliance, Electronics and Computer Store at the company's flagship location here last month with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The 100,000-square-foot showroom, arguably the largest brown- and white-goods store in the Western United States, now features more than 600 active video displays and 800 majap SKUs, including 12 fully operational kitchen vignettes. There are also four dedicated in-store shops showcasing products by Apple, Bose, Harman and Sony; fully-staffed customer areas for service providers Cox and Qwest; and additional check-out lanes.
Nebraska originally opened the Appliance, Electronics and Computer Store in October 1994.
