Fellowes To Provide Bacteria Protection

By Staff -- TWICE, 4/5/2004

Fellowes is teaming with anti-microbial product-protection maker Microban Products to develop technology accessories that include Microban protection and market these collectively.

With one university study finding the average desk had 400 times more bacteria than the average toilet seat, Fellowes said it intends to remedy this statistic by launching later this year new mice, keyboards, mouse pads and wristwrests that feature built-in Microban anti-microbial product protection. This product's germ protection is designed to fight the uncontrollable growth of damaging microbes, such as bacteria that can cause product deterioration.

Fellowes said it is looking to provide accessories users with peace of mind and increased cleanliness, combined with product functionality.
