Epson Bows New Photo All-in-One

New York — Epson added a new photo all-in-one to compliment its existing lineup, the Stylus CX6600.
Geared for the home user, the unit features flash-memory-card slots for printing directly from Compact Flash I and II, Memory Stick (including PRO and Duo), SmartMedia, SD/MMC, xD and mini-SD with an adapter.
The CX6600 also incorporates the company's Easy Photo Fix software for restoring faded pictures in the scanning process. The 48-bit scanner has a resolution of 1200 by 2400.
The printer can produce borderless photos at a resolution of 5760 by 1442 dpi in 4-inch by 6-inch, 8-inch by 10-inch and letter sizes. It uses Epson's DURAbrite inks with four individual cartridges and connects to a PC via USB 2.0.
The unit can make stand-alone black and color copies at up to 13 copies per minute
The CX6600 is shipping now for a suggested retail price of $199.99. It will include a photo kit for creating photo crafts and includes 20 sheets of photo paper, Photo Series software and a free membership to Epson's photo craft and photo sharing Web sites.
