SoundKase Units Enhance CD/DVD Protection, Access

Oxnard, Calif. — A stackable, transparent CD/DVD storage case from the SoundKase division of Scosche Industries, combines the ancient Yin Yang design with cool colors and incomparable protection for music or movies.
Users can read the disc label for ease of selection and can separate CDs from DVDs using different color cases. The product's design eliminates the easily broken hinges found on normal jewel cases and provides lightweight, but extremely durable, storage.
The ZenKase opens by swinging on a center pivot hinge that reveals an open half circle that will store up to two discs. Users simply slide the case open by pulling down on one side in the direction of the open arrow. A CD or DVD can be inserted without leaving fingerprints on the disc. The ZenKase holds the disc on its outer edge using a new design called "edge containment," the company said.
Suggested retails are 99 cents for the SKZC1B single clear and SKZC1BC single colored. The SKZC10 clear 10-pack has a suggested $4.79 retail and the SKZC10C assorted colored 10-pack is $4.99. The SKZC50 clear 50-pack is $23.99 suggested retail and the SKZC50C assorted colored 50-pack is $24.99. The ZenKase line was available in July.
