Mobile Edge Debuts 'Slim, Light, Sleek' Remote

By Staff -- TWICE, 12/5/2005

Mobile Edge, better know for its portable storage lineup, is introducing a credit-card sized slim-line wireless presentation remote control that is designed to store in a computer's PCMCIA card slot. It allows presenters to remotely control slides in virtually any presentation or slide show software, and includes a built-in laser pointer, said the company. It is said to be the smallest on the market.

Called slim, light and sleek by Mobile Edge, model MEAPO1 allows presenters to be in complete control of their presentations, and it is small enough to tuck away within a computer when not in use, claims the company.

The remote, which is a USB plug-and-play device, has a wireless range of up to 75 feet and has an integrated laser pointer. It is PC and Mac compatible, and has a suggested $79.99 retail.
