Next-Gen Headphones Debut From Logitech

By Colleen Bohen -- TWICE, 10/9/2006

Logitech has introduced its FreePulse wireless headphones. The company said the headphones are half the weight (2.1 ounces) of its first generation product and that the new high-carbon spring-steel headband makes them more flexible and durable.

Logitech also said that the enhanced bass with a bass boost feature helps the latest version deliver twice the performance of the previous SKU.

The headphones feature Bluetooth 2.0 Enhanced Data Rate technology and the plug-and-play adapter works with any 3.5mm headphone jack. Each headphone has a 30mm neodymium driver. The bass boost feature can be turned on with a control on the right earpiece. That earpiece also features integrated volume controls. Flexible soft-touch comfort rings on each earpiece fit over the top of the ear and the bendable steel headband is embedded with a soft-touch sleeve.

The headphones have a suggested retail of $99.99
