Westinghouse In Japan

By Greg Tarr -- TWICE, 7/10/2007

Santa Fe Springs, Calif. — Westinghouse Digital Electronics said it has secured distribution for select LCD TV models in Costco Japan.

Westinghouse said the Japanese warehouse club chain agreed to distribute its 37-inch and 42-inch 1080p LCD HDTVs.

The announcement follows Westinghouse’s accomplishment earlier in the year — reaching a distribution agreement with Japan’s largest national retailer, Yamada Denki, which has more than 300 stores.

The company said it also distributes products in China at Gome, one of that country's largest retail chains.
