XtremeMac Introduces MicroMemo Recorder

By Staff -- TWICE, 8/21/2006

XtremeMac's MicroMemo digital audio recorder for the iPod is designed as a one-touch recording device; it incorporates a detachable, omni-directional microphone and a built-in speaker for instant playback without headphones.

The MicroMemo attaches to the iPod via the dock connector and records 16-bit audio in high- or low-quality formats. It features a microphone that can be detached from its 3.5-mm port, and it can toggle between microphone or line-in settings.

When attached to the iPod, the MicroMemo activates the iPod's menus and displays recording time on the screen. It carries a $59 suggested retail and began shipping last month.
