Jasco Combines Mike, Sound Hub

Oklahoma City — Jasco Products is offering a GE three-in-one microphone hub that transforms a common USB hub into a microphone and sound hub. The product includes voice recognition, a digital media hub for virtual surround sound on any speaker system and a USB 2.0 hub to connect a number of devices.

Called model HO97951, the USB microphone is said to be a solution for consumers needing audio input into computers for Internet chats' voice recognition and VoIP applications.

USB connection provides digital sound quality for crystal-clear sound, and the microphone includes a mute button to ensure privacy, said Jasco.

The product also incorporates a two-port USB 2.0 hub to connect any of the over 400 million USB devices available on the market — namely printers, flash drives, keyboards and mice.

By combining a USB hub into the USB microphone, consumers have a cost-efficient solution that minimizes clutter on their desktops, according to the company. Suggested retail is $49.99.
