Tabletop Radios Get Tangent’s Focus

Pickering, Ontario — Kevro International is bringing the Danish audio brand Tangent Audio to the U.S. with an initial focus on premium table radios, including a Wi-Fi-connected Internet radio.

cabinets, walnut-wood veneers and choice of finishes: wood grain and white, black and red piano lacquer. All but the opening-price AM/FM table radio feature clock-radio functionality.

The $399-suggested Quattro Wi-Fi Internet/media player/ FM-clock radio accesses Internet stations through Reciva’s portal, features aux input for connection to MP3 players, and comes with LCD display.

The $399 Cinque AM/FM/CD clock radio adds single CD player, MP3/WMA CD playback and 12 presets. The $199 Uno AM/FM radio and $239 Duo AM/FM clock radio feature ’50s-style analog clock

All are available and promoted as offering high performance at reasonable prices.
