Kensington Adds Notebook Protection

Staff -- TWICE, 11/10/2003

Notebook computers are getting a good deal of support from an inside protection system, made by Kensington, that lowers the risk of damage from shocks and drops while being carried inside portable storage bags/case.

Called the X-Brace Computer Sleeve, the patent-pending protective system suspends a laptop in mid-air with elastic straps, while inside a portable storage bag, providing what the company calls "market-leading" protection.

The X-Brace, which accommodates laptops up to 15 inches in size, offers an ultra-thin profile and lightweight design for superior mobility. It fits inside Kensington's Contour Pro line of portable bags. Suggested retail is $40.
