Steel Horse Bows New Video Line: Mobile Cinema

Compton, Calif. – Steel Horse is launching several new mobile video products this month under its new Mobile Cinema brand, including an expanded line of modular overhead consoles for the minivan market.
The new line also includes an upgraded portable system called the Video Traveler, which is easier to install and can now act as a freestanding system when used in the home or office, the company said. The new Video Traveler portable line comes in screen sizes ranging from 4 inches to 10.4 inches at street prices from $299 to $1299.
New Mobile Cinema overhead console screens have been redesigned in a modular approach so that all screen sizes fit the same installation bezel for both easy installation and reduced dealer inventories, said the company. The new overhead screens are available in 5.6 inch, 6.4 inch, 7 inch and 8 inch. The 7-inch model comes in a 16:9 aspect ratio for DVDs. Street prices for the screens range from $599 to $1299.
