Monster Unveils Apple iPod Accessories

Monster Cable Products is offering a full line of accessories for the Apple iPod, including two chargers, a splitter, cable, transmitter, mini speaker and two carrying cases.

The Monster iCharger, for charging the iPod battery in a car cigarette lighter, has a $29.95 retail price, while the Ultra-Low Profile iCharger offers an iPod dock connection to power up the unit while on the go. Suggested retail is $39.95 for the charger and 10-foot cord.

The Monster iSplitter allows two users to plug the unit into the headphone jack on an iPod, iBook or Powerbook, then plug two sets of headphones into the iSplitter ports. Suggested retail is $9.95.

Monster's iCable was developed so iPod users can connect their iPod to stereo systems with full-size speakers. It comes in 7-foot lengths at a $29.95 suggested retail.

Monster iCarPlay is an FM transmitter with dock connection. The transmitter features a one-button FM channel with eight available channels and a charger for fast charges and maximum battery life. Suggested retail is $69.95.

A lightweight, battery-powered mini speaker set, called iSpeaker, folds into a double-CD-size shape for ease of travel. It is self-powered and runs on its own batteries for a suggested $59.95 retail.

The Monster protective carrying iSportCase for the iPod features a belt clip and car mount for a suggested $19.95, while the iCase Travel Pack adds to iPod transport and protection, an iCharger and iSplitter. Suggested retail is $69.95.

The iCarPlay features a 40-inch cord and mini jack, so the iPod can be played through a car stereo cassette player while on the road. Suggested retail is $19.95.
