Hiroshi Yamauchi, who has been president of Nintendo of Japan since 1949, has stepped down. He will become an adviser and director of the company. Satoru Iwata, who joined Nintendo two years ago as director and chief of the management planning section, succeeds him. In addition Atsushi Asada, VP of the company, has become chairman…Rob Dutta, a former Future Shop executive, joins the Mega Group as merchandising director for its consumer electronics division based in Vancouver, B.C. …Sheryl Abraham, a San Francisco CE retailing executive, joins CINEPRO as president. She replaces founder and president Eric Abraham who died in April at age 51…Ted Aguirre, sales director for VAC Sales in Canada, has been named sales VP-Canada…Steve Stoher, regional sales manager in Panasonic's food service division, named East Coast national accounts manager for the food service division, handling sales of microwave ovens and other related products.
