Case Logic Fashions Storage Line With Khaki Cargo Pockets

By TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 9/4/2000

LONGMONT, COLO. -- CD wallets and a CD player case from Case Logic are sporting khaki cargo pockets to give a hip, sporty, outdoor alternative look to ordinary CD storage products.

New to the line are four products: the CDXB Cargo CD Wallets in 24-, 48- and 104-unit capacities, and the DMXB-1 Cargo CD Player Case. All are covered in electric dark-blue nylon complemented by black mesh. The front of each features double-stitched, pleated khaki pockets for holding portable CD players, headphones and other accessories, including cellphones.

"We've put our fashion foot forward with the addition of storage accessories that match the sought-after khaki cargo look," said Marca Armstrong, Case Logic's senior product manager of audio products.

A close-up of the line's SKUs, all of which are available, includes:

CDXB-24 ($12.99 suggested retail) holds 24 CDs or 12 CDs with liner notes. It has a front cargo pocket with drawstring for storing a portable CD player, headphones, batteries or other accessories.

CDXB-48 ($19.99) holds 48 CDs or 24 CDs with liner notes. The case comes with a carrying strap and offers three, front cargo pockets designed to hold a portable CD player, cellphone, money or ID.

CDXB-104 ($34.99) stores 104 CDs or 54 CDs with liner notes. The wallet features an extra-large front cargo pocket for larger items such as magazines and a portable carrying strap.

DMXB-1 ($19.99) offers portability and protection for a portable CD player, accessories and jewel boxes in two main compartments or the front cargo pocket. The case offers a removable shoulder strap.
