Adapter Cables React To Blocked Power Outlets

By Staff -- TWICE, 11/21/2005

Auburn, Calif. New Powerstrip Saver adapter cables from The Carpenter Group are designed to solve a problem that troubles most electronics and computer-using customers — namely blocked power outlets when AC/DC power adapter, or “black boxes,” are plugged into power strips.

The company's UL and CSA-approved Powerstrip Saver adapter cable plugs into the power strip and the AC/DC adapter box plugs into its cable. The Powerstrip cables make every power strip socket able to be used, and the company's model 12PS2 adds an additional socket to the power strip.

Suggested retail for the 12PS2 is $3.49, while the 12PS1 is $2.79. Availability was scheduled for mid- November.
